Apna Virsa Apna Punjab 2008 - Sohne Gabru Punjab De

Traditional Bhangra Style Moves
3:30 - 4:55 = Jhummar
5:09 - 5:20 = Jugni
5:26 - 5:30 = Faislaa (more of a move than a category, but a traditional segment nonetheless)
5:50- 6: 40 = Dhamaal
6:41 - 7:04 = Phummanian
7:05 - 7:18 = Mirza
I didn`t really see any luddi or summi and there was no sialkote segment which are other popular categories. The rest of the dance can be considered variations on `chaffa` steps as well as others to the beat `chaal` or `bhangra`. There are many other styles/categories of bhangra. When creating a dance you pick a handfull of the one`s that you want to showcase and include them in your dance. The more traditional teams include more styles in different orders as each style has its own roots and meanings. For a little more feel to these styles try listening to Sarbjeet Cheema`s new album "Only Folk" as it gives some explanations.
